Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
U.S. citizens traveling to Cyprus for tourism or short stays do not need a visa for visits up to 90 days.
Airports & Flights
Most travelers fly into Larnaca International Airport (LCA), though Paphos International Airport (PFO) is also an option if you’re staying in the western part of the island.
Major U.S. cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., offer flights to Cyprus with at least one layover, often in Europe (London, Frankfurt, Athens, or Istanbul are common).
Typical flight duration ranges from 13–18 hours, depending on layovers.

Getting Around
Renting a car in Cyprus is a great way to explore the island at your own pace. Many well-known rental companies operate directly from Larnaca Airport, making pick-up and drop-off easy.
Just keep in mind that in Cyprus we drive on the left-hand side of the road, so if you’re used to right-side driving, take your time and ease in until it feels comfortable.
